How to Create a Killer Brand for Yor Podcast and Stand Out in a Crowded Marketplace

With over 2.5 million podcasts and 3,000 new shows popping up every month, podcasting seems to have finally transitioned from a casual gig to a core part of the audio market. It has become one of the best ways to reach a global audience, create an intimate connection with your listeners, and provide valuable on-demand content – and for free. However, are there too many podcasts out there, potentially resulting in choice fatigue? Probably. There are soon going to be millions of podcasts in the ether, most of which will only be listened to by the host, their mom, and maybe their next door neighbor. So just like any other form of mass advertising, podcasters will need to find ways to stand out in an over-saturated market amid all the other content being put out on a daily basis. In this presentation, Fatima will cover various tools, tactics, and strategies podcasters can utilize to make sure their shows stand out and don’t get lost in the crowd.

1:00 PM Eastern, Thursday November 17th.

“I see a lot of podcasters launch really enthusiastically with a great idea. And then soon after get overwhelmed.

You know, A how the post production process, and B, how hard it is to build your audience. Podcasting is a marathon, not a sprint and anything that you can do along the way to accelerate your growth will really give you that edge.

If you have budget, then I would say running ads on the listening platforms. And if you don't have budget, which is absolutely okay, then  really creating engaging content and promoting your show in those podcast forums and communities and building like-minded relationships.” – Fatima Zaidi
